M. Trevino is an experience filmmaker based in New York City. He focuses on directing, editing and producing both short and feature length films that include documentaries, narratives, reality television, webseries and promotional campaign videos.
Trevino's films work centers on gender, ethnography, ritual, and memory. His treatment of visuals engages and challenges the viewers enabling them to be active participants. He takes a story from concept to completion generating a visual language that is not only unique to his multicultural background but also has a broad audience appeal. His films have been screened in major cities in the United States including New York, San Francisco, Houston and Detroit.
M. Trevino received his M.A. in Media Studies from the New School's Media Studies Program in 2002 where he was department fellow in production, and studied under the tutelage of Barbara Hammer and Cecilia Dougherty.
